Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the website, Vercel automatically processes technical access data (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL). This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and operate it securely.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable and secure operation). Processing may take place on servers in the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. Details: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. The log data is deleted automatically in line with Vercel's policies, usually within 30 days.

Contact form and email

Through the contact form you send us your name, email address, optionally your company and topic, and your message. We process this information solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Depending on the configuration, the form either opens your own email program with a prepared message to us, or the message is delivered to us via the email delivery service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). In the second case, Resend processes the form data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Details: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The same applies if you contact us directly by email: we process your email address, the content and the time of your message only to handle your enquiry. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
